2004 -present Engineering Manager, Quality Sciences. Manufacturing Engineering/Quality.
• Managing global team of quality engineers and warranty professionals in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific with responsibilities including warranty chain management and forecasting of the key operating metrics, such as first time quality, number of warranty claims, and customer complaints.
• Support of the manufacturing organization on the issues of quality management, six sigma process improvement, and statistical process control. Support of corporate-wide structured problem solving.
• Reliability prediction and risk assessment of automotive component systems: electrical, mechanical and mechatronics. Lean six sigma activities, Monte Carlo simulation, Weibull analysis, and other quantitative methods. Reliability assessment of lead-free solder electronics.
• Represented Delphi Corporation at various domestic and international automotive shows.

2000 – 2004. Product Validation Architect. Reliability, Parts, and Materials Engineering.
• Served as a Delphi global center of expertise for reliability/quality science and life data analysis.
• Dependability testing and design analysis of powertrain controllers for alternative fuel vehicles (electric and hybrid).
• Closely involved in resolving quality and reliability issues with automotive OEM customers (GM, SAAB, Nissan, Opel, and Toyota).
• Accelerated test design and planning, finite element analysis, Weibull/Life-data analysis, development and delivery of reliability training worldwide, and electronic systems reliability prediction.

1997 – 2000. Systems Engineer/Project Manager, Advanced Engineering - Occupant Safety.
• Leading the engineering design team developing state-of-the-art occupant sensing system with a comprehensive discriminating algorithm.
• Performed crash simulation testing and 3D computer modeling of a human body dynamics during vehicle crashes.
• Analyzed mechanical aspects of crash-related injuries using computer simulation and crash dummies. Developed and implemented automotive applications of inclination sensors for BMW vehicle rollover system.
• Business intelligence activities including data gathering, analysis, and strategic planning for new automotive product lines.

1990 – 1997. Reliability/Quality Engineer, Product and Process Assurance.
• Experimental Modal Analysis, Finite Element Analysis, vibration testing, sound intensity measurements and analysis.
• Developed and implemented an application of Experimental Modal Analysis to prediction of vibration fatigue life of electronic units and created a vibration design rating scale.
• Pioneered reliability modeling of automotive safety systems with distributed architecture.

• Designed support systems for pipelines located in earthquake prone regions.
• Performed finite element analysis of pipeline systems designed to withstand the earthquake impact. Developed finite element analysis software (FORTRAN code writing).

• Performed vibration tests and reliability prediction of electronic assemblies intended for use in aerospace environment.
• Performed an electronic packaging to minimize adverse effect of vibration and thermo-cycling on commercial and military electronics.

• Mechanical analysis, design optimization of a control system for the flexible astronomic mirror.
